Country Fireplace - Camino Country

Camino County, altezza 25 cm e spessore 22 cm  x 7,5 cm profondità.

La parte superiore del camino è stata realizzata applicando carta da parati ruvida su un supporto di legno.
La parte inferiore è stata invece realizzata con pasta di mais, creando l’effetto dei mattoni di cotto.

Il cesto porta legna è stato realizzando con sottile spago all’uncinetto e riempito con pezzi di piccoli rami.
I piccoli piatti sono stati realizzati con pasta di mais bianca, poi decorati con pennarello blu e rifiniti con vernice lucida.
I sopramobili sono kit per miniature mentre e il parascintille in basso è stato ottenuto riciclando la chiusura metallica superiore di un borsellino.
 La paletta e il mantice sono sempre di pasta di mais, così come il teschio sul camino, mentre la padella è stata creeta modellando un sottile lamina di rame.

The County fireplace measures 25 x 22 cm (9,84" x 8,66") and 7,5 cm in thickness (8,66"). 

The upper part was built applying textured wallpaper on a wood support.

The lower part was made with corn dough, tying to recreate the terracotta bricks pattern.

The wood holder basket was realized with crochet hook using thin string and then filled with pieces of small branches.

The small dishes were  made with white corn dough decorated with blue marker and sprayed with glossy paint.
 The knick knacks comes from special kits for dollhouses while the spark guard on the bottom is obtained by recycling a metal closing of a purse.

The scoop and the bellows were always made with corn dough, as well as the skulls above the fireplace, while the saucepan was created by bending and shaping a thin copper foil.
