La bellissima struttura in legno è stata comprata in un negozio per il bricolage, ma può essere facilmente creata con assicelle sottili di legno. La casetta è stata verniciata con impregnante e il “tetto” è stato colorato con una passata di tempere color cotto.
Tutti i giocattoli e gli oggettini sono stati creati con la pasta di mais, ad eccezione dei libri e della bandierina.
Per i due pupazzi e il bruco sono stati prima creati i singoli elementi e poi incollati tra di loro quando quasi asciutti. Nel trenino sono stati utilizzati degli stuzzicadenti per unire tra di loro i vagoncini mentre nel cavallo a dondolo la criniera e la coda sono dei fili di lana. Ad alcuni giocattoli sono stati aggiunti dettagli come numeri, lettere e piccoli dettagli con i pennarelli come nel salvagente, nella trattola e nella palla. Il robot e la girandola sono colorati completamente quando asciutti. I libri sono stati creati ricoprendo con delle illustrazioni delle basi legno, mentre la bandierine è una decorazione per cocktail!
