Visit at Shiny Swarovski World! - Visita al Mondo Swarovski

Questo weekend abbiamo fatto una breve gita fuori porta in Austria di un paio di giorni, e siamo andate a visitare il museo e la fabbrica Swarovski.

Il Swarowski Kristallwelten è il museo costruito nel 1995 per il centenario ed ospita non solo le creazioni di cristallo ma anche moltissime opere e creazioni moderne, istallazioni e allestimenti di design dedicate al cristallo.

Al museo è possibile vedere anche il più grande cristallo del mondo di ben 310 mila carati! Il museo si snoda in varie stanza, vicino all’ingresso che una parete alta 11 metri e lunga 42 tempestata di cristalli poi c’è il duomo con una cupola di quasi 600 specchi e una sala con il più grande caleidoscopio del mondo illuminato con luci e colori che si sfaccettano e creano effetti fantastici.

This weekend we have done a short trip in Austria for a couple of days and we have visited visit the Swarovski Crystal Worlds.

In the Swarovski Crystal Worlds there is the Swarovski factory and an interesting museum built in 1995 for the centenary, in the museum there aren’t only crystal creations but  also many works and contemporary creations, design installations and exhibitions dedicated to the crystal.

In the museum you can see the largest crystal in the world amounted to 310 000 carats!

The structure is divided into several rooms, near the entrance there is a fantastic wall 11 meters high and 42 long studded with crystals, then there is a room with a dome consist of nearly 600 mirrors and another room with the largest kaleidoscope of world, illuminated with lights and colors that create fantastic effects!

Questo è l'ingresso della struttura, una grande rete metallica racchiude sul suolo migliaia di pietre e cristalli. 

This is the entrance, a large metal mesh enclosing on the ground thousands of stones and crystals.

All’intero migliaia di cristalli appesi o incastonati brillano illuminati dalle luci lasciando stupefatti e increduli dagli incredibili giochi di luce.

In some rooms, such as in the café hanging thousands of crystals illuminated by the lights that make us feel amazed!

Questo è il bellissimo lampadario illuminato da fari e luci colorate che si alternano per creare affascinati effetti di bagliori e luci.

This is the beautiful chandelier illuminated by spotlights that alternate and colored lights witch create a stunning glare effects.

Questa è una suggestiva creazione che rappresenta due meduse, la “testa” è interamente composta da Swarovski retro illuminati mentre i tentacoli sono fibre ottiche che cambiano colore. L’effetto è molto surreale!

This is a striking creation that represents two jellyfish, the "head" is composed entirely of Swarovski internally illuminated with various colors while the tentacles are optical fibers that change color. The effect is very surreal!

In una stanza completamente bianca strutture astratte e moderne creano volumi e proporzioni quasi fantascientifiche. Qua e là elementi di metallo lucido rispecchiano le suggestive forme bianche e creazioni di cristallo riflettono le luci.

In a completely white room some modern abstract structures create volumes and proportions. Here and there mirrored metal design elements reflect volumes of the structures and the Swarovski crystal creations themed.

Incredibili riproduzioni di edifici e strutture famose come la grande Piramide, l’Empire State Building e il Taj Mahal lasciano stupefatti e affascinati!

Amazing reproductions of famous buildings like the Great Pyramid, the Empire State Building and the Taj Mahal leave us very  fascinated!
