Greengrocer Shop - Negozietto Ortofrutticolo (Pasta di Mais)

Il negozio ortofrutticolo è stato realizzando assemblando pezzi di legno compensato ritagliati con il traforo. Misura cm 28 x 25 cm ed ha una profondità di appena 6,5 cm. 

Le tegoline sul tetto sono interamente realizzate con di pasta di mais ottenute con uno stampino ricavato da una lamina di metallo. La pareti interne della struttura sono state rivestite con carta da parati mentre il pavimento è stato pitturato con delle tempere, infine il bordo superiore di proviene da una vecchia cornice di legno.

The greengrocer shop was built by assembling pieces of plywood clipped with saw. Structure measures 28 x 25 cm (11” x 9,84”), and 6.5 cm (2,65”) of thickness.
Tiles on the roof are entirely made with corn dough obtained in the same size and with a shaped metal foil (molded to obtain a silhouette). Inner walls were covered with wallpaper and the floor was painted with tempera color. The upper wood line comes from a old frame.

Le cassette portafrutta sono state create incollando piccoli pezzi di stuzzicadenti.

Tutta la frutta e la verdura è stata fatta con pasta di mais colorata nell’impasto.
Per creare maggiore realismo state aggiunte sfumature con delle tempere ad alcuni prodotti quando asciutti come funghi, lattuga, carciofi, asparagi, porri, cetrioli, banane, pesche, mele e pere.
Pomodori, peperoni, melanzane cetrioli e mele stati spruzzati con vernice lucida.
Dei chiodi di garofano sono stati inseriti in pomodori e peperoni per simulare il tipico picciolo, mentre in arance, albicocche, mele pere ed uva sono stati infilati dei piccoli bastoncini.

The bowl boxes were created by gluing small pieces of toothpicks.
All fruit and vegetables has been made with corn dough colored in the mixture.

To create greater realism in mushrooms, lettuce, artichokes, asparagus, leeks, cucumbers, bananas, peaches, apples and pears were added nuances with tempera and acrylic when dried.
Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants and apples were sprayed with gloss varnish.
Into tomatoes and peppers were incorporated cloves to simulate the typical stalk, while for oranges, apricots, apples, pears and grapes have been used very small sticks.

 

Anche all’anguria sono state aggiunte sfumature quando asciutta e verniciata di lucido. 

La cassa di bibite e la scatola tipo popcorn sono delle calamite. Il vasetto in cotto è stato riempito con semi di papavero, mentre nel sacco di iuta sono state aggiunte delle piccole patate di pasta di mais.

Even watermelon has been decorated with acrylics and varnished when wiped.

The Pepsi box with bottles and the “popcorn type” box with vegetables are nice and realistic magnets.
The small terracotta pot was filled with poppy seeds and the burlap sack was filled with small potatoes on the edge made with corn dough.
